Easter 2008

My first two teeth! 7 months old

Landons teeth came in on the 22nd and 23rd of March! One right after the other! He has been pretty cranky and constantly chewing on stuff. He looks so cute with the two teeth. He still won't eat hardly any food! He was eating about 1 jar a day but now refuses. I just keep putting food in front of him and keep trying it. But he is growing and seems healthy! He was about 16 pounds about 1 month ago. He also had his first ear infection back in March.

Bird in the fireplace! ugh!!!

This bird got stuck in our fireplace and flew around in our house for a couple of minutes! I was going crazy. There was a dead one in there when we bought the house! yuck! I guess I just kept thinking about the dead one.

Micah is potty trained!

My little boy is a big boy now! He did so great.....still has some accidents but has only been training for a week now. I am so proud of him! He had a pretty emabarassing moment at a playdate but I guess every parent goes through those when their toddler is learning. He was not the one to initiate it but I just decided that I would keep trying and it paid off! So, he bought some Diego underwear and loved getting cookies as a reward!haha

The first picture is him excited about peeing on the potty chair and the second is him riding his tricycle for the first time with underwear on!

This slideshow is dedicated to Chris who is a wonderful father and husband. Your family loves you so much and appreciates all you do for us! Thank you for spending your birthday with us. We might not have done anything extravagant but you love your family and even worked and took care of us on your birthday! Chris loves his boys so much and we are so thankful he is a good daddy!

Landon sized table

Landon just loves grabbing anything he can. It was so funny he was sitting at this table just perfectly. Then Micah was being wild and mama got onto him............poor guy. Sometimes I feel like I am too hard on him. I am trying to be better..............I love him more than anything though. Just like all of my boys.

Landon is eating baby food!

Both of my boys get cuter and cuter everyday! I just can't handle it.............so, here is Landon's favorite thing to eat...........peas. And he doesn't like much food......will not touch cereal, which is fine b/c not every baby has to eat cereal I think. There are a ton of other great foods! He is eating almost 1 jar of food at night and loves it. He doesn't eat every kind of baby food like Micah but he is very healthy so as long as he is healthy I will take things at his pace. I made some homeade squash the other night and he sort of liked it. The funny thing was Micah ate a whole bowl of it!! CRAZY!

He makes the cutest & craziest faces. He is so happy though. Which is very different from Micah as a baby. Not that Micah was sad but just very fussy. It could be because I didn't have a CLUE with Micah and I was doing everything wrong. I feel alot more comfortable with Landon. Also, I think they do have very different personalities. And I love them just the way they are and wouldn't change a thing.............well..........maybe the terrible two's!j/k

Birthday partyin' at Drew's 6th!

Our family went to Chuck E. Cheese and.................Landon slept......(: , Micah went crazy, wanted to go home with Aunt Heather, mama was having a bad hair day, as you can see Joel and Drew were having a blast........I am loving Joel's face!, you can also see our very professional family portrait...........! We had fun!

Handsome Boys

I thought these were too cute. Just hanging out with the boys at home. What else is there to do but take pictures of their handsome selves! Landon has been teething lately I am pretty sure. Although no teeth have poked through, he has been really fussy, spitty, and not eating well. No fever. But Micah cut his first tooth the day he turned seven months so we'll see!

Water baby

Landon took a bath today in his inflatable bath tub! He loved it because he could sit up and roll around everywhere. He was so cute. I actually had this tub from Micah but never used it because Micah sat still in the newborn tub, but Landon jumps all over the place. I think mostly because he gets so excited watching Micah. I am glad I can finally get some use out of it and I don't have to put Landon in the regular tub and risk him bumping his head on the hard wall. Which he has done and not really cried, but he is pretty tough. He has to be with an older brother.......(:

Happy boy sitting up

Landon is doing very well sitting up. He is so content just hanging out. But I think he will have a blast once he can keep up with Micah. Although I will probably have to deal with jealousy and the whole "my toy" thing....haha. That's okay, they will have to learn to love each other! (:

Micah and becoming a big boy

Here is Micah with his bob the builder "truck" underwear........too cute! I think I was much more excited about them than he was. I am really ready for him to potty train. Although I have mixed emotions and I don't know if this sounds weird but when he is potty trained he will DEFINITELY not be my baby boy anymore. He will always be my boy but he is changing so much and you don't realize how true it was when your parents said "you grew up too fast". I was also reading about when they are this age they lose the big belly and small limbs stature and start slimming and growing less. But their arms and legs and head start becoming more proportioned. I took this picture and couldn't believe how true that was. He is definitely losing the toddler look. I love every minute with both of my boys and when I start to get sad and think how they will leave my house one day, I think of what wonderful plans God must have in store for them. Thinking about that helps me realize God didn't create these children for me but for Him.

Anyways (: Micah isn't potty trained and I was just trying out underwear. He did do better this time though b/c he just peed a little bit and then realized what he was doing. He was able to stop from peeing all the way. I have heard from many people not to force potty training this early..............so, until then we will be diapering (:

Our family update January 2008

We had a good Christmas visiting Chris' family in Virginia and had some fun times in Indy. Including going to Christmas at the zoo!

Micah is saying more sentences now. He is in that repeating stage where everything he hears he repeats!......(: I can't believe what a big boy he is. He is very independent but still very loveable.

Landon is getting ready to start solids and is rolling over all the time wishing he could crawl. Especially watching Micah. He is so content and just laughs all the time. He could sit in his jumper for hours and loves it. He is also sitting up now!!!! I sat him up the other night and I couldn't believe. What a big boy!

It has been cold lately and we have been hit with sickness so we have been staying inside playing games, reading books, and of course..........veggie tales and little einsteins.

I have been trying to declutter and organize this house! That's all for now

Micah and his dancing buddies

I had to post this video because if you know Micah he doesn't take to people he doesn't know that well. We went to camp this past July before Landon was born and he loved these girls. He would go to the dish room after every meal to find them. Of course Micah loves music and they would play music while running the dishwasher but I think he thought they were cute (; He knows what a pretty girl is already!!! ahhh! We have a long road ahead of us!haha
